Brits Property - North West Province

Brit was founded in 1924 on a farm belonging to Mr Gert Brits.

Bordering the well known Hartbeespoort Dam area, this fast growing city's economy is predominantly based on agriculture and mine industries. Many kilometres of aqueducts deliver irrigation from Hartbeespoort Dam water to farms around the city that cultivate flowers and citrus fruit. Mining activity focuses on platinum and chrome.

In addition Brits is well known for its granite cutting ability.

Many game farms are to be found in the vicinity focusing on cheetahs, elephants and crocodiles.

The Vaalkop Dam Reserve has well in excess of 300 bird species.

Seasons Eco Golf Estate borders the farming area and will become a sought after residential estate on completion.
